Alatise Jumia is a Henna artist from Kwara State, Nigeria. She's into henna and body art, she does regular, bridal Henna and Henna tattoos. She also creates body art for photoshoots. She has been interested in henna since she was a teenager but started it as a business professionally in 2015 and only started Body art in 2016.
Jumai is a very creative artist, she puts a lot of artistic effort and professionalism into her works. To her, everything is an inspiration.
She stated during an exclusive interview with one of our writers that :
"An artist never has limited inspiration. Colours, people, moods, expressions, all that...My job is all about creativity and being artistic"
Since she started,she has worked towards building a good artistic reputation and has quite the experience she needs in the business. She has done several bridal Henna for various weddings and was also present at the Egala/Davies wedding in Accra, Ghana as a Henna artist. She has also had the opportunity of doing body art for an upcoming artist, Bimbi Phillips dancers at Rhythm Unplugged, OLIC3, and Lagos Countdown in December , 2016 and has worked with various photographers on set.
Undoubtedly, her works speak for her passion as an artist. She has several acquaintances, but keeps a tiny circle of friends. She doesnt believe in having too many friends, just a few ones to motivate and keep her optimistic.
When she was asked to reveal her personal ideology on life, she mentioned that she believes in Karma a lot and that Karma drives everything. Surely, what goes around must come around. Her fans hope to see more of her artistic vision in the years to come.
