Top 10 Great Rap Newbies (2016)

This is my personal list of the dopest and most interesting new rappers in 2016, just gotta say don't take it personal if your favourite rapper is not here *wink .

DESIGNER

The designer !! This is an amazingly creative rapper , he blew 2016 with his song "PANDA " practically more than half of the rappers in the world (including upcoming artist) did a cover for this song. Because of this song,  he was signed by Kanye West.

LOGIC

Logic is an American rapper, song writer, and producer. He is one of the top rappers so far, his lines are out of this world. He rocked my 2016 with his mixtape :Bobby Tarantino , he is also kinda handsome but sorry ladies ›› he is married.

TORY LANEZ

Now everybody should know this one. Tory lanez, the Canadian rapper / singer. He is a mixture of soul and dope, practically all his tracks in 2016 were popular but the one that really was popular among people was "LUV". I mean who doesn't love the song, another thing i just like about him is that he sings and raps so there you go.

G-EAZY

Hmmmm!!!!!!  This one is kinda complex because he didn't really do much in 2016 but the interesting thing is that his old songs spilled over to 2016 e.g Me, Myself and I. G-eazy is " ANOTHER EMINEM" and maybe a better version. He's amazing.

DREMO

Dremo!!!!!  Dremo is a Nigerian rapper that shaked the industry this year. He came with his Panda cover "FELA" and fired on with other hit tracks. Dremo was probably inspired by many other rappers e.g YCEE but who can say.

YCEE

Ycee is also a Nigerian rapper and is currently signed to "TINY ENTERTAINMENT ".  I know you are probably thinking why is Dremo above the list afterall YCEE is one of those that paved the way for rappers like Dremo. Yes, Ycee did pave the way but after his songs "JAGABAN" and "BENZ" i don't really see any other one where Ycee gave it his best.

KENT JONES

Many people know his song but not his name. All i can say is he is very good and he really made things interesting with his song "DON'T MIND" , i still love the song (she telling me this... telling me that... you say with you baby, with you i'll never go back... )

TIDINZ

Tidinz, also a Nigerian rapper , he raps in Igbo and mixes some English once in a while but nevertheless his flow is catchy. I personally loved his song "MPANDIA" which followed with "IGBO" this dude is very dope. I just hope he can continue

FALZ

Falz is also a Nigerian rapper /singer , he is not necessarily a newbie but it has not been too long since he became a full member in the industry. He is the hilarious "FAlZ THE BHAD GUY" if you didn't know him before you know him now. He has a whole different style, he raps with (how do i put this ) the accent of a child, which makes him unique. He rocked this year with many songs :there was "CHEMISTRY, BAD GANG and many but most especially his continuous duo with Simi just amuses me, i mean i love it when they collaborate, i hope he continues to be trending in 2017.

ZORO

Zoro is a Nigerian artist , he also raps in IGBO. I didn't really see much of him this year ,explaining why he is at the bottom of the list. He did blow my mind with his song "OGENE". He had many other features on that song which made it really popular, he is dope.

EXTRA

WALE TURNER

Hottest !!! Wale Turner, he really worked his way into this list. I can't really say he is upcoming but at the same time he is not a full member of the industry , he just came dazed everyone with his song " NO". What is more amazing is the way he was accepted being that he only raps in yoruba. I hope he too continues to be trending.
